Yes. Genie Outlook Backup file, as with all Genie-Soft backup solutions, uses Zip format to backup your data, so you can use any zip program to open the .bol file, for example you can use WinZip; just change the extension to .zip

Also, during backup you can choose to save the backup file in EXE format, which will allow you to restore your data even on a machine that doesn't have Genie Outlook Backup installed.
