We offer two download options which are:

1. GBM V8.0 without Disaster Recovery feature. Size = 21MB
2. GBM V8.0 with Disaster Recovery feature. Size = 137MB

Therefore, you can download the software with or without the disaster recovery feature depending on your backup needs and connection speed.

Browse for the location to save the application setup (exe).

• Double Click the setup file
• Follow the Steps in the Installation Wizard to install the application on your system.

**When upgrading, there is no need to uninstall previous versions first. The new version files will be copied to a different directory as an independent product, without causing any conflicts.

The first time you run GBM 8.0 it will scan for Backup jobs from older versions and will prompt the user whether or not would like to import. However, you can manually import from selecting Import Previous Jobs from the File menu in the toolbar, then follow the on-screen instructions. This imports job configurations, settings, and unattended scheduled tasks, but it will not import catalog records for version 6.0.

**The first execution of a backup job after it has been imported from version 7.0 will continue running without reverting to full backup.
